In Internal mode, the compressor detects and responds to the signal being processed. In External mode, an external sidechain source can be used as the detection signal, allowing the dynamics of one audio signal to be controlled by another.

Persistent C BETA
Persistent C is designed for versatile use across individual tracks, buses, and master channels.
With controls for Input, Output, MakeUp, Mix, and Range, it provides precise control over compression intensity and final output level.
The available Stereo, Left, Right, Mid, and Side processing modes support not only conventional stereo compression but also advanced mid/side-based spatial control.
From transparent level stabilization in mastering applications to adding punch, energy, and consistency to drums and bass in mixing scenarios, Persistent C adapts naturally to a wide range of production needs.

In Internal mode, the compressor detects and responds to the signal being processed. In External mode, an external sidechain source can be used as the detection signal, allowing the dynamics of one audio signal to be controlled by another.
This feature adjusts the Peak Threshold relative to the main RMS Threshold, making it possible to apply different compression behavior to fast transients and sustained energy within the same signal.
This advanced timing system introduces a second layer of time-based behavior within a single compressor. While the primary Attack and Release parameters define the main compression response, Sec Attack, Sec Release, and Attack Mix shape longer-term movement and additional compression character.
